Joye Moon Watercolors

February 6, 2016 to April 17, 2016

Featuring a selection of vibrant works by acclaimed watercolorist and Oshkosh native Joye Moon, this exhibition highlights the artist’s exuberant depictions of nature, as well as colorful abstractions and paintings inspired by her extensive travels.

A distinguished alumna of UW Oshkosh and a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Joye is a prolific artist whose award-winning watercolors have been selected for dozens of juried exhibitions across the country.

In addition, she is an avid traveler and teacher and shares her passion for creativity by organizing international trips and leading painting workshops.

"My college training was based on formal realism. Through the years, I have challenged myself to go beyond painting what I see by trying to capture what I feel. As an artist, I’m always exploring by trying to set free my inner vision through paint on paper. I hope my work interprets my response to nature and how alive it makes me feel." –Joye Moon
